Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) encourages reading and creative writing, cares for the community and spreads goodwill following its Building Homes with Heart ideal. SHKP recently gave pop-up books by second Young Writers’ Debut Competition winner Kit Lau to seniors at the St James’ Settlement Kin Chi Dementia Care Support Service Centre to spread cheer. SHKP has run competitions to help young authors publish their first books since 2006, and Kit Lau published a series of pop-up books based on local Hong Kong culture following his win with Hong Kong Pop-up
